Watch The Princess Bride: A kindly grandfather sits down with his ill grandson and reads him a story. The story is one that has been passed down from father to son for generations. As the grandfather reads the story, the action comes alive. I have attempted to watch this twice now but changed over to something else each time. What got me to quit watching was the cheesy acting. I suppose it might get better later into the movie but i have yet to make it more then 10 min into it. I see that there are lots of rave reviews about it and so i might give it another attempt at watching and see if it gets better later into the movie. But hey i recommend giving it a shot if you have the inclination -- you may enjoy it whereas i didn't.

Someone gave me this movie for my 6th or 7th birthday. They put it in a huge box and had a ton of packing peanuts in it so when i opened the box i was pissed that it was just a movie. But this movie is one of the best movies. like. ever. lol. If you haven't seen it you really must watch it.

This is my favorite movie. I think it would be great for kids despite the action, blood, and brief language. It isn't that bad of a movie, I would recommend it for everyone and anyone. I watched it twice in a row... (: I gave it 5 stars. Love it!!

Never seen this, it was actually pretty good. I guess a lot of guys would be put off with a title like "the princess bride", sounds like something aimed toward 5yr old girls, but it's actually more like a classic 80s/90s adventure, with a bit of cheesy comedy for good measure, think 'robin hood men in tights' that kind of feel, and coincidentally the same actor Cary Elwes. All in all a very enjoyable laid back watch, and suitable for the whole family.

Wow! I absolutely LOVED this movie. I can't believe I hadn't seen this before. It was HILARIOUS, captivating and full of True Love. One of those movies that leaves you feeling good and smiling when it ends. You must watch this. 10/10
