VERY typical early 80's ghost story. no twists, very predictable . stupid writer lady with emotional problems moves in to a run down house in the middle of no where. then does a bunch of stuff that makes no sense. little bit of pointless running around and then screams at everything. add in rich old dying man with a "secret", couple of "skanky henchman hicks" and seen it 1000 times, maybe if i would have watched this 30 years ago i would have only seen this same story done 500 times and like it a bit more.... this bored me and i love haunted house movies- house was kinda cool...
