Don't Go Near the Park: In the prehistory of man, 12,000 years ago, two members of a superhuman tribe abuse the treasured secret of eternal youth. They use the methods of ritual cannibalism on the children of their own tribe and when discovered by the 'Queen' of the tribe, they are cursed to an eternity of old age with no chance to ever die. Now, in present day Los Angeles, their only hope to recapture eternal youth is the ritualistic sacrifice of a 16-year-old female virgin. This movie was all over the place. It seemed really stale for a 1981 film. The fact that it was relreleased in 2006 further boggles the mind. The laser and vocal effects remind one of that old land of the lost live action show on tv years ago. This must have been sitting in the closet since the 70s and finally saw the light of day in the 80s, but man was it bad. I can't fathom why it would be on the Video nasties list, except for the two teen rape scenes. It stars Tamara Taylor; who suspiciously looks a lot like Linda Blaire did in Excorsist; which is the reason I fuether think it was meant for a 1970s release. It also stars a young Lenea quigley, but even her semi nude scene won't save this flick. from all the WTF moments just happened scenes this film has. Watch for curiosity if you must, but it really plays as a Chip's episode with rape and satanic rituals. LOL!
