It made me cry like a baby...

One to watch again and again. Not many Stephen King stories manage to make it from page to screen without disappointing, but this one is just wonderful. Be warned though - it's a long film and you will not want to stop watching, so make sure you've got your popcorn and drinks before you hit play.

Fantastic. No matter how many times I see it it still gets to me.

I too,cannot believe it took me so long to watch this.It is now on my top ten favorite movies.The story line is incredible,the acting is truely amazing.If you haven;t seen this one yet,I highly recommend it.Its a 10/10.

most people say the book is better then the movie for most things but it is absolutely the truth when it comes to this movie. I read the book and liked it but I walked out of the theater early as the movie just did not even come at all close to how much better the book was. I really like the movie adaptations of his work and maybe if I had seen this first it might have been ok. I have read lots of books then went to the movie version and this by far was one of the disappointing movie versions of a great book. In other movies like lord of the rings they cut back time on the quest but this was different in a way I can not explain. If you are thinking of watching this GO GET THE BOOK, skip the movie but it seems many who watch this like it anyway.

I really liked this movie. Tom Hanks is amazing in it. This is a very entertaining and touching movie. Definetly worth a watch.

It takes something exceptional to come close "Shawshank Redemption" but is yet another fantastic collaboration between director Frank Darabont and Stephen King that manages to bring another multilayered tale to life. The "Green Mile" is a prison drama full of emotions, great performances, thoughtful and intelligent... BRILLIANT!

Honestly, this is a great movie, good vs bad, evil never triumphs kinda movie.
