not a bad movie

I held off watching this for 30 years and glad i did. i can understand the mixed reviews now as i clearly remember peoples review of the movie in 1982. I like sci-fi but this is the biggest pile of shit i have ever seen. It's slow it's boring but yes i agree it's ahead of it's time. Total crap unless your on drugs and spaced out whilst watching it. 0/10

i was good, the only thing that i didnt really like some of the scenes were too slow. the story is good though and harrison ford was always great in sci fi movies.

storyline is very bland but the visionary is amazing for a film from '82

This was a really awsome movie. The acting was very good and I loved the storyline! This is the best sci fi movie there is.

Has an interesting storyline.

This is SUCH a fucking cool sci-fi flick!! And anyone who thinks the narrated version is better with them 'driving off into the sunset' at the end is an IDIOT. Even Harrison Ford hated that version! THIS is the way to see this movie. Hollywood execs fuck up all sorts of master works of Art with their moronic ideas like narration or a 'happy ending'. This movie RULES!! Same goes for the original dark ending of 'the butterfly effect'. FUCK Hollywood execs!!! Watch THIS version.

I agree, I've always heard fantastic reviews about this movie but, it was so boring I could hardly stay awake.

This film is classic Si-Fi and with a concept ahead of its time it has not yet dated, which makes this film a must see for any avid fan of Si-Fi. 10 out of 10, A favourite and one of my top Si-Fi films.

this film was errr it just seemed quite hollow there was no real build up to the end of the film and bits were a bit eiffy like black and white pictures in the future they had color pictures back then the endding was quite good but were did he get that dove from??? give ma a message to answer any of these questions

I'm sorry I can't give an objective opinion because it has been spoiled by the many films it inspired. So I do recognize its importance but I didn't fully enjoy it.I'll have to re-watch it again. Still its a good film even if the ending was mediocre. someone should make a sequel.
