Definitely better than I thought it would be based upon the comments here. I really enjoyed this! Special effects, plot, acting, settings all, I thought, were well done. Nice balance of mystery and action with the story revealed as the main character learned it, however, I especially do not like it when a story line leaves unanswered questions and this one leaves a very large one. I won't spoil it for anyone here - you'll see what I mean should you watch it. I can only guess at both the answer and the reason for leaving it unanswered. Perhaps they planned on a sequel... Either way, the film is definitely worth a watch - maybe even a second as I may have missed something along the way that will answer what I'd like to know. Enjoy!

this movie was good. vin diesel is a good actor, and the girl plays her part very well. all in all a good post apocalyptic kind of film. good action scenes good story 9/10 the ending could have been better infact the film could of been longer so you see what happens when he gets the girls children. still a very good watch

I like Vin Diesel, but I didn't really like this movie. The plot is sort of vague and the ending not much of a climax. Some people liked it I get that, but not me. It could have really used some 'flashback' sequences or a narrator to explain the current state of the world. For example it looked like anarchy and poverty all over the world except for America which was still the same if not thriving even more. The 'cult' also lacks any real indication of their tenets of faith. For the movie watcher who likes light splashing on their screen this was great, but if you are in any way analytical you probably won't enjoy this film.

Cool film. Lots of action and a plot tight enough to hold your attention and get you thinking. Worth the watch.

everything was ok except for some cheesy moments

Good movie, all in all. Great visuals, interesting plot, good cast selection; the only down side to me really was the weird, weak ending. Granted, the ending managed to answer many of the questions raised throughout the film, but it also left many more unanswered. What's more, the ending seemed very rushed, as if it were slapped together at the last minute, just due to having either run out of budgeted time, or thanks to having spent so much on special effects for the rest of the film. Still worth a one time watch, though. 4/5
