Wonderful movie. Had a wonderful storyline. Beautifully done too. This is a really great movie, wonderful acting. Worth seeing.

I saw this movie and sat there till 3am watching it. It was simple and beautiful. Sad but poignant. Truly a lovely movie worth the watch

Excellent film. It was very dramatic and the story was great. The acting was fantastic as well. It's a must see! Truly a beautiful masterpiece. Will definitely be a classic twnety years down the road! I give it 5/5.

A beautiful love story. Amazing, heartbreaking, breathtaking. The lovely hills of Bohemia play a grand part in this film. 5/5 stars from me for one of my all-time favourites that I have recommended many times.

A touching piece of cinemaphotography depicting endurance of hardships, loyalties and love, this gem from Czechoslovakia will stay with you longer than the two hours it takes to view it. A solid 5/5 from me. Thank you to the uploaders.

Yeah would have watched it, if the main guy didn't look like he could be her grandfather, kind of disgusting!

4/5, maybe more. And if you like oddball romances, you should definately watch this one. Found it because I got so tired of looking for something to please an uncertain taste in film tonight to pass the time that I clicked on anything. Hate reading movies, but this one was worth the read. You will fall in love with the story, setting, and characters. Click one of the abundance of good links and you'll be into it before you realize.
