Watch Rashomon: A priest, a woodcutter and another man are taking refuge from a rainstorm in the shell of a former gatehouse called Rashômon. The priest and the woodcutter are recounting the story of a murdered samurai whose body the woodcutter discovered three days earlier in a forest grove. Both were summoned to testify at the murder trial, the priest who ran into the samurai and his wife traveling through the forest just before the murder occurred. Excellent Akira Kurosawa film. If you enjoyed this one, watch Stray Dog. Sort of a obscure AK movie, but definitely worth a look.

Wow an amazing movie that really will make you think about humankind and our morality....Cant really describe it but to say its a classic and the story it was based on ( In the Grove) is also awesome 5/5

had to watch this in class. liked it, though its very exhausting to watch. There are many many really long scenes, without cuts or change of view and without any action. Like a man goes trough the wood, for about five minutes and all you see is trees and this one man. But it's an interesting movie and definitely worth a watch!
