Francis Ford Coppola's pièce de résistance and arguably the greatest movie of all time, as far as I am concerned. Like every great narrative it's got more than one layer of interpretation about it, the Vietnam story merely constituting the surface. This piece of art merits repeated watching to crack the complex semantics beneath. Don't hurt yourself.

Really wonderful movie. One of the best war movies. I thought it was going to be completely different from this though. The acting was amazing. This is a classic! Worth a watch.

I found the plot behind this movie extremely enthralling and the acting very well executed. A remarkable marriage of The Heart of Darkness and the horrors of the Vietnam War. 10/10

One of the greatest movies ever made. Yes, people with short attention spans might not be able to appreciate this film's greatness. This movie has plenty of action in it, but it seems some people need non-stop explosions, shoot-outs, and other petty ploys to keep them interested. If you like GREAT movies and haven't seen this one yet, stop what you're doing and watch this film. You'll never forget this epic journey through the jungle. The acting in this movie, well, not much to say about it except the fact that its SUPERB. The storyline is excellent, there was suspense, dread, and shock. Let's talk about special effects, the SFX is this film were incredible. The helicopter/napalm scene, along with the rest of the film, would have been ruined by today's Hollywood and their insatiable need to use CGI. The SFX in this film were perfect. The dialogue is legendary, top-notch acting, awesome storyline, one of the greatest movies ever made. 10/10
