Diana Ross was amazing in this film. I don't know much about Billie Holiday, but I thought this was a really good biography. Classic film. And a must see.

I remember watching this growing up. it made much more of an impact the second time around. diana and billy dee williams were fantastic in this. richard prior...funny as ever. he's such a clown :) 4/5

Outstanding! This film is legend. Diana Ross is just amazing period. Especially here as Billie holliday but this movie wouldn't be as raw and brilliant if not for Richard Pryor. These performances will always be remembered and Ms hollidays music is devine. Awesome flick.
