Such a classic. I first watched this in a psychology class a few years back for some reason. The acting is perfect which is what makes the movie so good.

just watch it. i'm not big on black and white movies, i often find them slow and boring. this is not the case here. 9,5/10

this movie rocked and not suprised to see so many links for it.this was real acting at its best and has you rethinking the death penalty. im a 100%guy its either everything or nothing.half way doesnt cut it when it comes to hanging.a must see movie.

I have heard about this film for years and I never thought it sounded too interesting. Well, we all make mistakes. Absolutely brilliant writing and acting. Henry Fonda delivers a true honest portrayal, as do all the rest of the cast. Thanks to whoever posted it.

How did this only get 4 stars? this is one of the best movies ever made, a classic...

Saw this in college and it was unforgettable. Try doing this in real life though, and it doesn't turn out that way. I was that angry woman. Fighting 11 people for justice is probably the hardest thing to do. I still have nightmares about it. God help our flawed justice system and the jurors who just want to get home to their beds because they've already made up their minds.

Brilliant movie. One of the best! Henry Fonda was great. I loved all the dialogue, and the chracters were really wonderful. MUST SEE!

A simple theme developed without any special effects, costumes, make-up and within the boundaries of one room.... thought-provoking, makes me wonder how much my perceptions differ from the truth in everyday life. Amazing direction, to be able to develop 12 characters so clearly....

Excellent movie

I saw this film for the first time when I was 12 years old and I was blown away by it even then as a child. One of the most powerful and well acted movies ever made and a personal favorite, do yourself a favor and please watch it. 10/10

The 1997 remake actually was pretty good too... even if it did have Tony Danza in it.
