What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice: As Aunt Alice, Ruth Gordon applies for the job of housekeeper in the Tucson, Arizona home of widow Claire Marrable in order to find out what happened to a missing widowed friend, Edna Tilsney. The crazed Page, left only a stamp album by her husband, takes money from her housekeepers, kills them, and buries the bodies in her garden. Alice is a widow too. So is neighbor Harriet Vaughn. I watched almost the entire film and then it jammed, twice. Veehd always gives me trouble. From what I managed to watch, this film is a masterpiece. Not so much for the story, which is decent, of course, but the acting. Amazing, flawless acting, especially the main character.

i hardly ever watch old movies but this one held my attention from the beginning to the end! Very good!

This is a fantastic movie!! Gosh.. why can't they just keep on making movies like this...the actors and actresses were so much better back then !! 10/10
