Nevada Smith: Nevada Smith is the young son of an Indian mother and white father. When his father is killed by three men over gold, Nevada sets out to find them and kill them. The boy is taken in by a gun merchant. The gun merchant shows him how to shoot and to shoot on time and correct. Everything that Nevada does goes to killing those three men. He learns to read and write just to learn their location. He pays people to tell him where they're at. He even goes to prison to kill one of them. While the movie is a western and has plenty of action, it also takes a deep look into vengeance and how one can change after a haunting incident. |

The character Nevada Smith was supposed to be sixteen. He is played by 35-year-old Steve McQueen. he don't really pull that off, but its still a cool film. As he is still the king of cool.

one of my favorite steve mcqueen movies. supposed sequel to the carpetbaggers. mcqueen is awesome playing an innocent boy who by witnessing the tragedy of his father murdered and mother skinned alive, turns him into a ruthless criminal and killer by setting out to avenge his parents death. awesome story and acting. one of yhe first movies i've seen actors Karl Malden, Martin Landau, and Pat Hingle. and keep in mind i'm only 33. steve mcqueen is THE KING OF COOL. and no actor will ever have as much charisma as this man, no matter how how hard they try. F**K johnny depp, F**K brad pitt, F**K george clooney and F**K any1 else who think they can come close to being half the man or actor MR. TERRENCE "STEVE" MCQUEEN was. and RIP on your 31 yrs in heaven
