An American couple goes to Greece for their honeymoon, and soon after befriends a smart and beautiful Russian girl, who feels lonely on the island while her father does important archaeological work. You can probably guess where the movie plot is going, but yet it is full of surprises and unexpected psychological twists and turns.

That's a horrible description. Here is the actual description taken from IMDB: "Sappho, a newly wed American wife, with her husband on the Greek island Lesbos, goes through the pain of unrequited love to a young woman, very much like the namesake poet in ancient times."

A good movie. The acting was pretty decent. No twists or surprises in the plot, but an interesting story. Despite GoooTrouble's comment the sex and nudity were in no way vulgar or explicit and were specific to the story line. Not for kids, but I wouldn't have a problem watching it with my girlfriend.

Its just an "R" rated movie, I've seen more in a "G" rated movie but I still didn't like this movie that much. the acting was ok, plot alright, but i guess it's just not my type of movie, I shut it off after about 45 mints, I got board. 2/5

Psychologically this movie was good - some unexpected things happen. content wise I thought it was empty :/ acting was so-so Id say it is worth a watch, plus if not for the plot - watch it for the scenery - the Island of Lesbos is really pretty!
