seemed kinda slow, i guess maybe its beacuse i was really tired while watching this, i couldnt really understand what the storyline was. i dont think it was disturbing though or promotes violence against women, ive seen far worse movies! anyway will give it a 5/10,

I love how this movie can make me feel sick to my stomach without being overly gorey or disgusting. The violence is so real and simple, makes you believe it.

I was really lookin forward to this and I don't know what everyone is complaining bout, this movie is fuckin awesome, lotsa violence against women, so if u dont like that I'd suggest u keep away but wow, I really luved this one. nice sex scenes, lotsa spankin :P Casey Affleck did a good job, he preeetty.

Good story , horrible movie . No one would love a person who nearly got them killed it doesn't make sense , even love has it's boundaries .

the story was good, however, I dont like westerns - should have checked genre - casey affleck's voice is really annoying and that made me speed forward. anyway, if you like westerns, murder stories with hillbillies, go ahead.

A re-make of a '76 film of the same name "The Killer Inside Me" shows us just how normal someone with violent tendencies can be. A dark, disturbing, brutally violent yet gripping thriller. Casey Affleck does a great job playing a demented villain.

Some pretty brutal and disturbing scenes. With this awesome cast, twisted story and some very hot sex scenes, this made an interesting movie. Was a lil slow tho for my liking.

Good start and then it slows right down! I felt let down by this film, when it started it had promise but never led anywhere! If it didn't have the well known names in it, it would be an awful B movie!! 1/10

A bit disappointing regarding how good the movie trailer was, although the twist at the end is great.

Winterbottom has directed a few good films in his long career...this isn't one of them and that's a shame,but there again it might not be his fault because the story was so stupid and improbable to start with, Jessica's acting touched an all time low and the dialogues were as incomprehensible as grunts,specially with their mouths full or smoking cigars....laughable ending to cap it all off,2/5.

Not everyones cup of tea but I loved it. Some of the violent parts are very graphic (if you like that kinda thing) plus the dialog is fantastic.Casey affleck could teach his brother a thing or two.

Personally i was very excited to watch this movie. I checked this site for days hoping it would pop up and finally had to rent it on demand. Unfortunately, the movie didn't really do it for me. the controversy was regarding the level of vioence and possible mysoginistic viewpoint of the director and honestly I have seen worse violence and better acting on Dexter ( which is my fav show by the way) and true blood (the acting part doesnt apply here). 6.5/10

casey afflecks acting is great.

This wouldve been a way better movie with a real actor in the lead. How in the world does Casey Affleck get roles? The guy is scrawny and ugly.
