I disagree with the statement below. I think it's a perfect little collection of vignettes. Coppola's is probably the weakest segment of the film - but it is very cute (fascinating to see the young Sofia in her acting debut, before she showed that she couldn't act in "The Godfather pt. III"). Allen's vignette is exactly what you would expect from a Woody Allen film, except shorter - in saying that, it is very well written and a fun bit of neurosis. Scorsese's "Life Lessons" is the indubitable standout and interestingly different from the rest of his canon.
