The trailer to this movie is pure genius but the movie is mediocre at best.

This has been on favorites list for the past 10 years. Vincent Gallo is so convincing in his role as well as Christina Ricci is believable as a torture, naive soul. I love every moment of this movie start to finish. Absolutely, brilliant!

Billy is a young man who just got out of prison and blames a former professional football player for his incarceration. During the hours of one long evening he begins to get new ideas. I give it four stars out of five and I would not mind seeing it again. I've always liked Vincent Gallo but he does not act much. I never did see Kevin Pollak, maybe I will catch him next time.

vincent gallo seems like a real douche in real life, but fuck can he make a movie...darkly comic, louche and scuzzy, despondent while poignantly uplifting...a beautifully grim movie

Whatever his name is... he's good looking. But this movie so far is just bland. And his character is goddamned obnoxious.

In my opinion its a perfect love story.I enjoyed all the Characters it's one of my favorite movies.

never seen Vincent Gallo film but this was a real great film i mean their was no big budget or glamor in this but it tells of a story that true love can find you at any circumstance ...like i said its no glits or glamore but has meaning. 3/5 would be great if they done a updated version of this film. piece ouTTTTTTTTT

This movie made me think of how many films I have seen of ex-cons or crimin als that at some point show glimpses of their family life and how disconnected the parents are from anything having to do with their child. For example: Monster, Poison, Too Young to Die? etc. Gallo, I believe, wanted to portray how consuming that need is to be understood and/or accepted by his family while at the same time dealing with the resulting self-loathing that is a common result of family-related alienation.

Cool indie flick worth watching. I've seen this movie a handful of times and I'm not sure what it is that keeps drawing me back. If you haven't seen it, give a look, just don't expect some big budget movie. I'd give it a 4/5.

Just my opinion! This was one of the worst movies I have ever watched and I'm a Bills fan, I bought the movie for that reason. that''s too much money and way too much of my time wasted.

I won't lie but this movie put me in a very good mood afterwards. The whole thing was a mixture of feelings. A god damn rollercoaster ride that's what it is. Terrific acting, very realistic, shitty parents strange relationships the whole 9 yards, that's life. Life throws hardballs at you and then it will take it easy on you and you have to prioritize with yourself with the positives. I'm so glad it ended the way it did, really glad, what a good movie.

well that's an hour and fifty minutes of my life I will never get back ... this movie didn't really make any sense weird flash backs a very weird guy and a total loon for a girl ... bizarre beyond belief

this is my absolute favourite movie. vincent gallo is a genius. he played this character beautifully. christina ricci was a doll. 'go ahead and eat it... take a bite... take a big bigger bite.' -so funny.

loved nearly everything about this one.....

A freaky lil indie flick that, although the storyline was unlikely, still made for an enjoyable watch as the gritty lives of the characters unfolded.

If someone ever does a bio-pic of Manson, Vincent Gallo would be PERFECT !!!!
