How many wonderful Christians are out there being very quiet and loving to everyone. not saying anything because they don't want to offend anyone. I am a christian and I believe in your right to your opinions and your freedom of speech, but it seems lately that if I disagree with you then I have to shut my mouth. a true christian will love you unconditionally for who you are not what you own or what you do but just for the simple fact that you are you and deserve to be loved as a human. then we come to the point of science Vs religion "more people died in the name of religion then any other thing". but isn't it science that invents things to kill people the bombs for instance I love you all as brothers and sisters have a wonderful day

This movie is so biased. Why doesn't Bill Mayer ask the scholars about the religions. For instance why doesn't he ask Dr.Zakir Naik on the Quran, who has memorized not only the Quran but all the scriptures whihc include the old testament, the new testament, bhagavad gita and so on. Moreover, he edits out the intelligent answers. I really hope that the people actually research and learn about the religion on their own.

OMG i am so shocked at that angst about religion or people who believe in God; what has happened, well just take a look see around you and then make a judgement as to how folks are getting along without God, oh yea just take a good look at our country and what is happening everywhere really. Shame shame!! There are stupid Christians and there are smart Christians just like anything else so don't just say we are all brainwashed for that is just simply not true

All you atheists who leave comments saying religion is brainwashing people etc, respect the beliefs of others. Do you honestly think your words will bring doubt to Christians? Making fun of Christianity, only proves that you are the ones who question your own faith. Why else would you make fun of someones faith, unless you are uncertain of your own? How low can you truly get?

I wondered why Bill Maher did not interview noted Christian Philosophers, Apologists and Theologians like Ravi Zacharias, Dallas Ward, William L. Craig and John MacArthur. Interesting. To magicmojoma: You and Bill forgot about the good Religion has done. Well its a little late but here is a list of just a few. 1. Christianity ended the practice of feeding condemned criminals to animals as public entertainment 2. Ended the practice of abandoning newborns in trash dumps. 3. Built the first public hospitals. 4. Preserved Western civilization after the fall of the Roman Empire. 5. Gave birth to modern science 6. Founded more schools and universities than any other single entity. 7. This is one of my favorite movies, I love Bill Maher, love his sense of humor and his wit.... Great documentary, a must see for my fellow atheists and some great controversy for the rest, 10/10 !!! IF YOU DON'T WATCH THIS, YOU AREN'T MISSING OUT ON MUCH! Not a very Good Doc, Bill Did not even listen, kept interrupting and Man do I want to slap him for interviewing that "Doctor" he just said all the wrong things I cannot believe he is a preacher! for humor it made me smile at some parts, It is sad that he isn't a believer, I am a Christ follower and it just kinda made me sad towards Bill and the others, But that's JUST MY OPINION I give this 1.5/5 This doc just expressed HIS thoughts and doubts, I wouldn't want to follow a blind person.

Humourous attempt to reveal the truth to a man made evil known as religion. More needs to be said and done about this institution that has the power of life,death and more. Bill may be the most hated man by the very religious people that he speaks about. I guess that is what it means to be religious to hate others that do not believe what they believe. God is dead and religion is a waste of time. It induces hate, violence, indifference, lies, deceit and to brainwash the masses as well as enslave humans. Religion has caused more damage to humankind than any good. Now do the Christian thing and hate me for my opinion. That is what I expect from the religious mindset. Give this a look from outside the box of religion. Otherwise it will not enlighten you on this insane belief in a failed system.....
