ok so everyone loved this film and one guy who said it was ok you trashed him ? seriously ? it was a very long movie , 3 hours !! The whole idea of people diyng for mail was stupid deal with it !!!Seriously Cosnters best work ? do you compare this movie with Dances with the wolves ?? 6/10 very long very "medium" movie .. its ok i guess but nothing special really ..

love this movie. Its another longer picture that he seems so lucky to always get his hands on. I have watched this several times as with some of his others. A basic post apocalyptic film that overs new hope for humanity as we relearn to embrace with a humanist view of our empathetic nature. great movie 10/10

Easily the best, most titanic, thrilling, stunningly mind blowing epic film ever about guys delivering mail.

Not a big fan of Costner. Pretty long watch for three hours with a ridiculous premise that is far from plausible. Rambo would have made quick work of the antagonist and his small army in this one. Fairly predictable with the love interest. I would say it was better than the Waterworld flop but not by much. Judge for yourself if you have ample time to view this once and forget about it like most movies of the past. The only valid part of the story is that humans will continue to control and kill each other no matter what the situation is. Tom Petty appearing in the flick was a treat. Proceed to flagging haters without a clue. Enjoy your popcorn...

Man, this puppy was a long movie. I have no idea what Costner's obsession was with a post-apocalyptic world was then, but this was a little better than Waterworld. A bit ridiculous, but not bad. 8/10

The beginning of the movie was definitely slow but glad I stuck it out very great story of hope :)
