I am so blown away by this movie!! Can't believe I haven't ever seen it before, I'm so ashamed!!! I always thought I didn't like Westerns!!! I hang my head in shame!!! Watch it, you can't be disappointed!! Sergio Leone is just a genius!!!

This is the best western ever made and the best film of all time,nothing can top this one, Clint Eastwood's performance as Blondie is amazing, i remember going as Blondie for halloween when i was 9. The only bad thing about this movie was that it is not a good idea to watch at night beacuse you will fall aslepp.

It's not a movie, it's an art exhibit of photography and music that just happens to move by in time. The humor and theme are just added bonuses. The opening shot (creepy bad-guy framed against blue sky and ghost town) is the best still photo ever. The scene with Eli Wallach running for five minutes through the circular cemetery mesmerizing.Genius in each shot. It's long. All the better.SO,If youve ever wondered why everyone love Clint Eastwood, this is why. Forget Dirty Hary, his WWII films, even Gran Turino...This is euphoric...As is For a few dollars more and his other westerns. Definitely one of the best classic westerns. This is kind of a guy thing but there is a very good story line here that many of the ladies may enjoy. Worth seeing if you have not.

not into westerns not my cuppa tea, but watched this years ago with my dad and i rember it being brilliant and im deffinate gonna see this one again im giving this film 10/10

WOW! this movie is briliant!! its 3 hours but 3 hours of pleasure, i love everything about this movie, though westren is not my type but i think that this one just changed my mind. creative, great story, smart directing, and the actors are just perfect. the ugly is my favorite. XD 10/10!!

I've watched this movie loadsa times over the past 35 years but didn't realise till watching it this time round that when they blew the bridge up at 2hr29mins that a missile (rock) only just missed Eastwoods head and Van Cleef at the end had part of his right middle finger missing. I looked these up on google and it was all true including a extra part where Eli Wallach would have been decapitated during the train scene if he had lifted his head up. In the wide-shot, you can see the step that would have impacted his head. Great movie again by Leone 10/10

Exciting movie, with awesome performances! My big problem is that you can hardly identify with any of the characters - not even with "The Good" one... But I admit it is a great work, nice directing, suspenseful music - it is really a classic!

A brilliant Western, with a superb Clint Eastwood. One of the best Westerns ever made. It is long, close to 3 hours, but keep you in suspence all along, even with a predictable ending.
