It is a very powerful and moving drama complimented by some of the greatest acting performances of the stars' careers. Patric and Leigh are the most notably outstanding actors as a duo of undercover narcotic police officers delving into the illegal drug world of a small town in Texas. There were a few problems, though, in this film. Small parts of the film's dialogue are flawed and the pace gets too choppy at many points. Nevertheless, 'Rush' remains a great example of what dramatic scenes and acting should be.

A well executed film, this touched me in a sad spot as a seldom thought-of saga is played out to its ultimate conclusion. I recommend this movie to those who appreciate a gritty movie with a spot-on sound track. 4.5/5 Thank you uplinkers.

I'm a huge Jennifer Jason Leigh fan and this was great! The soundtrack by Eric Clapton was really great, too. 4/5

This movie is great, it is dark,gritty and shows the seedy underbelly of the heroin trade with stark reality and the brave men and women who often lose themselves to stop it. 5/5

This is magnificent movie. I just hope time will give this movie the recognition that it never got when it came out. A brilliant piece of work. A movie for people who love movies. To watch this movie is to feel lucky. GEM. 10/10. MUST OWN/MUST COLLECT.

I watched this when it first came out and just watched it again. Still a good movie I think... exposes a lot of the truth in the system and how things get done and portrays very well the ones who get lost themselves in the fight.
