I liked it...it was interesting, mysterious and kept me guessing till the end....I so didn't expect it to end the way it did...very good movie :)

This had just the right amount of creepy for me as a kid, and has stuck in my mind ever since. Even my daughter, who thinks anything made before the year 2000 might as well be from 1920, got into this one, and although it *is* dated in some ways, the story still works. Great for kids who like scary or mystery stories--not too adult for them, but not too babyish.

I have loved scary things since a very young child, and when I watched this (was probably around 10-11), I was so excited as it was my first 'horror' movie. Course, now this is nothing but back then I found it highly creepy and frightening and loved watching it! For younger viewers just getting into scary films, I give this 5/5. And of course, Bette Davis is in it so you know the acting will be top class!

I loved this movie and it was one of Bette Davis' last roles. It was a fantastic mystery movie. Actually the story line was fairly original and the young actors did a great job. It is an older film, so be warned it is dated to some degree but the story IMO is A+. Movie On!!

Naturally with this being Walt Disney there is no horror but there is mystery and a bit of suspense. Great story!

Saw this and thought it was based off the book by Robert Liparulo... but I don't think it is. Might give it a watch anyways...
