great movie it shows that there are still some decent men around that will stick with you no matter what and even tho your parents many turn there back on you that you can still live a happy life

Helen was in a mid life cris and hammered over and over again with unpleasant circunstances .All the emotional turmoil made this film very realistic .Good performance from H.H. .

Very enjoyable film and a great effort for Helen Hunts first time behind the camera as well. It is so easy to love watching Helen Hunt in all her films and Colin Firth was excellent as always. 7/10
