Very good film, Also a very sad story but it's nothing new...Just the wrestling part of the plot which sets it apart as it's not really been covered. Rourke put in a fine performance as did the rest of the cast. 8/10

What on earth is a real man?

Rourke at his highest level weve seen him at however this film could have been waaaaaaaaaay better. It seemed really low budget and I just dont get that. That being said Mickey kills. 7/10

Really nice story of this movie, and showing reality of wrestling... and Mickey did great performance as a wrestler.I really love the soundtracks of this movie, although not all,but Clint Mansell made some good ones.

Amazing movie. The plot was amazing. Darren Aronofsky is an amazing director. The acting was great. A little depressing at some parts, I feel sorry for the main character. This was seriously amazing, a MUST SEE!!!

Really love this film.I had no idea that the world of wrestling away from WWF was so brutal! I mean,a staple gun?!?! Come on,that is what you call suffering for your art! Rourke(or as I refer to him,My Mickey,for some day he will be mine)is fantastic as The Ram.The thing I like about My Mickey is that he is a MAN, I mean a real man and his portrayal of this charasmatic and surprisingly gentle man is excellent..A really touching,exciting and enjoyable film.

This has to be one of the most boring movies ever given this much credit to. 1/10 Do not watch if you don't want to watch a movie where nothing happens in, besides for a fake sport.

My mother watched this movie before I did and she said it was one of the most boring movies ever. A few years later I decided to check out anyway, and I'm so glad I did. 7.5/10 Before this and Sin City I had no idea who Mickey Rourke was and now I think he is one of the most down to earth guys in Hollywood:D This was a great emotional movie and I think I liked it because it showed the life of a wrestler and I was a huge wrestling fan years ago, so it was a good inside look of how they did things in the ring and backstage. After this Mickey starred in The Expendables and Iron Man 2, he was really making a great comeback but now he seems to have fallen back in to Direct to DVD movies again which is a shame:(

If you grew up watching wrestling on tv as a kid then this movie will really hit home. It's a great story and probably one of the only films of it's kind.

It was a good strong and serious movie by great director Darren Aronofsky. I liked it.

*sigh* I just could not get into this movie...it was "ok" and that was it. I reckon the main problem for me was all the hype and the movie was kind of boring. I give it a 2/5 only because Mickey Rourke is a phenominal actor who portrayed a broken man very well. Other than that I say do not waste your time.

I love this movie..Mickey Rourke was fantastic. Marisa Tomei is sexy. Thats something I never really noticed til this one. The movie is sooo moving I cried a little on some parts. Especially the ending. 5/5

Great movie. Definitely Rourke's best movie although he has a list of other great movies under his belt. I didn't feel like he was playing a wrestler. He kinda lived as a wrestler. He was very believable in his role. And Marisa Tomei,god damn,she's freaking hot! Great acting equals her beauty. I think Rourke and Tomei should have won their Oscars. Slow moving movie but one with a great story and emotional scenes.

A great movie plus u get to see tomei stripping
