good movie, set in the 70s. Has a killer soundtrack, and a nice teenage angst turnaround plot,,,4/5!

this movie is very funny. it has alot of hidden jokes in the script..you have to have a sense of humor and a brain to appreciate this movie...DILDO

It's a good film if you're stoned, if not than I think some of the jokes might fly above your head. I can see how it's not funny, but I also see the charm with the story and characters. It could've been a lot better, but for a comedy/drama it was pretty good.

Alec Baldwin wasn't at his best in this. It was really slow at some parts and I didn't care for the characters. It has its moments, but overall the comedy, drama, and romance wasn't strong enough. A rather weak film thats highlight is the drug use.

Great soundtrack, really good for a high school movie. Probably not going to have much appeal for anyone who didn't go to high school in the seventies.
