This classic 70's horror movie spawned an entire generation of inbred hillbillie movies and has since been remade,you can't beat the original though,8/10.

ends kind of abruptly for my taste, but other than that its a good horror movie, just like the remake but without graphic violence and it left to the imagination more...

Loved the remakes but this original one is great too, this is what spawned all the hillbilly inbred movies and movies along that nature, directed by Wes Craven too, class.

Pretty similar to the remake. I really liked this version. The acting was fine. A classic!!! Scary. Worth seeing.
