A very good film as always done by the one Samuel L. Jackson but it does send out a message regarding hate, prejudice and the ups and downs teachers endure with students and the vast majority don't get the respect they deserve. The fact this film was written by a former teacher demonstrates that. Clifton Collins Jr. also performed well in this film. 10/10

once again, Samuel L. Jackson at his best :)interesting story through a different point of view. teachers take up a lot.. more than what they're usually given credit for! great acting, powerful plot and powerful message 10/10

Samuel L. Jackson is brilliant in any role. This was a good thriller that shows how bad things can really get when you're in a situation that is out of control. It's unfortunate that he was unable to enjoy teaching because of the environment. This is going on my playlist.

This is an amazing movie. Well-paced, captivating, & to top it all off, the soundtrack is f***ing EPIC. Thumbs way up for this one :)

I remember seeing this in the '90s. Revisited it and was glad I did. Good movie, good message. 3.5 / 5.

For me it's a very long movie, but with a powerful message and an exciting twist. One of Clifton Collins Jr.'s best performances. 3/5.

Easily a 10/10. Great cast, great performances from all. It's one of those movies that will have an impact on you when it's finished, give it a watch you won't regret it.
