Brilliant oddball, very engaging. Plus Reese Witherspoon is in her "athletic prime" A very delicate combination of fun, danger and taboo. Haven't seen anything this since Raising Arizona. 10/10

Reese has never played a darker character then in this film. Very strange and yet interesting movie. Not to bad but Keithers face new face was making me ill.

This is one of my favorite movies ever! Dark, funny, twisted and much more, I lucked up on this years ago and watch it again and again.

Great little gem. Reese Witherspoon's acting is so powerful n perfect. Sutherland is great 2 bt really hate able. His depiction of a pedophile was perfect n felt really dangerous. Definitely worth the watch.

The storyline of the film could be perceived as a little messed up but you people can read, if you don't like the sound of the film in the description then there's nothing forcing you to watch it. I enjoyed this film and only watched it as I was watching many Reese Witherspoon films at the time and this one 'hit my desk'. I enjoyed the film and would recommend to those who are interested by the description of it :) 4/5

Damn fine movie. I actually saw the second one first, so this one seems tame in comparison, but still just as weird and twisted as the other one, plus bigger actors in this one. (Not necessarily better acting mind you, just bigger stars)If you like this one, watch part 2, you'll like it too. As for this one, I'd give it a 7/10.

Great movie ...But I am known to have strange taste in movies and I would agree that it is B movie ..still really enjoyed it thats all that matters .....right ?

cant believe ive never seen this until now, awesome film. Wish Reese witherspoon played this type of role more often. Best dark comedy ive seen 4 a while. 9/10

Great film, a true black comedy, absolutely brilliant and a little screwed up but then it wouldn't be a true black comedy if it wasn't 10/10

I had no idea that Kiefer Sutherland made a movie with Reese Witherspoon. I'm a big fan of both. The movie is a pretty cheesy, dark comedy, filled with both subtle and in-your-face humor. Reese as trailer trash, Kiefer as a sexual deviant...come on, that's just too funny. This is just one of those movies (like pulp fiction) you must watch at least once in your life. It won't go down as one of my favorites, but I'm not sorry I watched. Reese's performance must be appreciated. She was outstanding. 3/5

This film exceeded my expectations and is actually a lot better than I had anticipated. Both the leads do a great job as hero and villain and despite having what could be construed as serious subject matter, the movie instead plays out as a dark comedy. Worth a watch. 8/10
