Wow, I didn't expect such an emotional story. Very sad throughout with an ending that chilled me to the bone. The script and the acting was brilliant. I give this movie a 9/10. I have never watched a film where the family had such a tragic tale of woe.

I liked this version, but I didn't like the fact they changed so many things and made Anne look that evil, when she wasn't like that at all. If you want a different perspective about this whole story I strongly recommend reading one of the books about it or watching "Anne of the thousand days" (1969). I love Anne B. in that movie ♥

oh gosh, still remembering this movie after year I watched it. So special and moving, great acting and perfect cast. Loved it, completly loved it!!!!

great movie must watch again, didnt know who they were talking about til the end so now i can rewatch with that knowledge on hand should be a new take on it, i am glad the older one got what she got for doing all that, feel sorry for the young one, dad stupid and mom was weak but i guess thats how it was in those times, 10/10

It was totally a disappointment,especially considering the book. Natalie Portman's acting was outstanding, but still it couldnt hide how bad the film is.

this was really good as it focused much more on the emotions of each character. i thought Natalie Portman nailed it until the very end. also that very last scene gave me chills. i think it's a great idea to treat this as the prequel to the Elizabeth movies with Cate Blanchett 8/10

Loved this movie, sister vs sister for love,all pushing and pulling eventually backfires and all issues come about and must face the consequences, 4/5

it is sad what ambition can bring...I didn't think I would care for anne but I did and cried at the end...it was quite different than I imagined as I've seen the first season of the tudors...I did hesitate to watch it but I'm glad I finally did...a good watch, an epic film

I read the book and absolutely adored it! Though the movie did leave out quite a few important aspects of the book I still think it was well done. Don't watch if you're expecting a historically correct depiction of the lives of Henry and Anne, but if you're looking for a good historical fiction, give it a watch it's definitely entertaining!
