yeah i see what people are talking about with this film, good film until the stupid ending, it could only have come from a lunatic mind such as clive barker, 8/10 for the 1st 90 mins, 1/10 for the ridiculous ending, watch this at your peril. :-(

ok i thought this was good until i got to the ending which i did not like at all. but besides the ending it deserved a 8.5/10

This movie was ok. Lots of gore. Some of it made me cringe and i am generally hardened to movie violence. It could of been good if they had worked on the story a little more.

Very slow, but very mesmerizing at the same time. You are hoping it hurries up and gets to the point, but the slow agonizing pace leads up to a very interesting ending that can be somewhat predictable, yet has something different to offer. Not a bad watch... 7/10.

This movie came out of nowhere! I had never heard about a horror-gore film of this magnitude starring Bradley Cooper! Wow! It kept you on the edge of your seat and offered a nice twist at the end. Not a movie for a weak stomach. 4/5

Simply WOW. How did I miss this one when it came out in 08-->OMFG 10/10 I'm not really into Gory as much as I am the Story. This flick beat Saw's story line all to H3ll....

Wow! This was a good movie...I would definitely recommend this.

Why is this in Russian? It was made in English. Anyway, it was a good` adaptation of the story. I was not fond of how the story ended or how this ended, but enjoyed it enough to buy it. Most of the movie is very well paced and visually interesting. 8/10

I wanted to like this movie. Up until the the 2nd quarter I was just immensely impressed with the character development and the gore sequences, but then it all kinda went down hill for me. I think most of it had to do with the acting. Namely the girlfriend. I didn't feel like she held her own when it came to the dramatic scenes. And there were a few one liners that came off as a bit cheesy. But all in all, it was an entertaining movie. I give it props for some nicely done gore scenes, especially that second sequence. 3/5

I THINK ITS ONE OF THE MOST UNRATED HORROR FILMS EVER,I LOVE THIS MOVIE ITS IN MY FAVORITES,I REMEMBER SEEING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME ON FEARNETWORK IT BLEW ME AWAY,IT STARTS OUT SLOW BUT IT KEEP YOU INTERESTED JUST ENOUGH TO WONDER WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THIS GUY THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU FIND OUT ALL THE wHO wHAT wHEN wERE AND WHYS,ACTINGS GOOD,ACTIONS FAIR BUT LIKE I SAID IT KEEPS YOU WONDERING,IM SOOOOO HOPING THEY MAKE A PART TWO CAUSE THE END KINDA LEAVE US HANGING SO CHECK IT OUT FOLKS AND DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSION.

awesome movie; good combination of gore, suspense, and mystery. Ending has a neat twist (perhaps a bit Lovecraftian.) And... it has Vinnie Jones (need I say more?) 8/10 :D
