marvelous film.plot,acting,sheer scale all excellent.worth the 4 hrs for both movies

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, just finished watching the double. Where have I been the past 3 years. As per below comments EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPICNESS. Such a perfect film, nothing bad can be said about this story. You really are missing a special experience by avoiding this movie. WATCH IT NOW 1000 out of 10, Im ready to watch it again :D

It's a good movie , great story and fine directing. If you haven't seen the first movie it is kinda hard to follow because they all look like eachother. I liked the ending because it was the best part. 3/5 because I don't like Asian movies.

Seeing previous comments, before i watched this film (PT 1 & 2)i had high expectations. But they blew my imaginations. AWESOME CONCEPT. 100%...

If you have seen the first part of Red Cliff then you have not seen it all. In fact if you see part 2 of Red Cliff you will have no need to see part 1 since 2 is just part 1 with a lot of extra scenes and more details that were omitted from part two. All in all it was an excellent movie with epic battle scenes and scenery and color.

if you guys love this film , then you would appreciate the game Shin Sangokou Musou or Dynasty Warriors.. I know what would happen to this movie because i flipped the game.. I love the story of Chinese Dynasty.. this movie is a 10 and John Woo is Legendary!!

Part 2 was even better than part 1. found 1 strange thing in part 2 I watched the stagevu at 55:23 there is a green floating beer mug just of center to the right on the bottom of the screen not sure what thats about but i got a good laugh

Excellent Movie!! John !oo has done it again. 10/10 I recommend watching part one first. Both movies were based off the novels. Theres also a game Dynasty Warriors that follows a similar story line same characters and even some of the same battles.
