I love me some Stephen King. The books are always better, but it's nice to just watch a movie sometimes. 9/10

While I was watching Desperation, I felt like there is narrator hidden inside characters, like there is just one character, and like the story is being written while the movie is playing, same thing in The Langoliers.

Ok they made a movie out of desperation but did they ever do one out of the regulators? If they did, i'd like to watch that.

oh dude, i read this book! it's an intense book. like most stephen king movies, it doesn't live up to the book. except for maybe Green Mile

ok movie, Ron Pearlmans character is awesome, the rest of the cast are absolutely terrible actors (especially the annoying little boy). Some scary moments, cheesy acting throughout. Still worth a watch 6/10

Good movie! Exceptional I thought for a made-for-tv! 'It' was another excellent movie that translated well to screen. However, Desperation better captured just how 'chilling' the novel really was. 'It' was very good up until the end but having read the book, I just felt that it didn't capture the climactic ending as the novel did. Guy who plays the sherrif in Desperation was REALLY GOOD! Don't think they could have chosen a better actor to play that sicko.....TACK!!

Loved it. It is a B movie indeed. But very good as it forces you to dive in one of Stephen King's nightmare.

The movie was the project of Stephan King.Executive producer,Stageplay,Creative consultant = Creative control.So if he was not happy with it it would not have gotten to the screen. Mr.King Started to do this with his projects after one of his best works was screwed up by hollywood.You might have herd of it (The Shineing). Thats why he remade it for tv under his supervision and creative control. And that is also why in my opinion his best work (The Stand) was made for tv. Because he does not trust hollywood to not fiddle with things.

"It" was the shit when it comes to Stephen King stories turned into video. Everything else has be bastardized. Still life will always be short. So check this adaptation out but read the book first......

Most films of a book dont live up2 that book,just because its hard 2 get so much detail in2 a 1/half-2hour film.I liked this film because it still manages 2 pull u in2 that world.8/10
