OK I may be bias as I absolutely love Mr Cage but this is a genuine decent movie , and a great love story !

It focuses primarily on the romance between Corelli and Pelagia and that too is half-baked. The film is set against the backdrop of a war between the Germans and Italians in a Greek island but the war is given less significance and more of romance. The entire film appears too sketchy, melodramatic and clichéd.

Fantastic combination of war and romance movie. I wouldn't have thought it could give such a charming alloy... Cephalonia is a beautiful island! And the music is breathtaking! 10/10
