What a fantastic film and to be based on a true story just puts the cherry on top definitely 10/10 anything less would be an insult.

All I can say is that this is a beautiful and well-made movie. Very inspiring movie and the performance is exquisite. 1000% !

a must watch movie...I enjoyed this movie so much and just happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye...never heard of it..but because of history and denzel as lead actor i thought it would be a good watch...not only a good watch but a great film..I am glad to have seen it and reccomend it highly...if nothing alone a true moral being that history cannot and must not repeat itself....for it would be a tragic loss that so many have died and suffered so men could be free....5/5

True words..."we do what we have to do, to do what we want to do". What a great cast and nice to see the girls from "Eve's Bayou", now beautiful young women. Denzel Whitaker is named after Denzel Washington. You can see that Denzel Whitaker has those same features and body as Forrest Whitaker. I was working 12 hours a day when this first came out, so i didn't get a chance to see this masterpiece til now. Glad i saw it today. It was beautifully written and directed. Def goes on my fave list
