This is the movie that spawned a whole series of Candyman movies,with some great gore and an iconic villain you can't go wrong with this one,8/10.

One of the best horror/slasher flick ever and it's done in a very creative and artistic way. Very little horror movie cliches and it felt fresh with a fast moving screenplay and great acting. It's genuinely creepy and scary and Virginia Madsen really did her role to perfection. She's hot too. I liked that her character wasn't made like the dumb ,hot chicks that most horror movies have nowadays. Instead,there was substance and strength to her character. A must watch for horror movie fans.

Oh very scary and gruesome and scary!! Had to cover my eyes at some parts. For those who don't cover your eyes, you will enjoy.

Interesting movie, I love the main song, it is one I would truly call a" haunting melody".

Totally scared the crappers out of me! That music at the beginning with those intro scenes, so impersonal and creepymoungus!! Scary as the first time I watched it back in the day, can't believe I am watching it now *bangs head on the desk* DOH!

Not as gruesome as i thought but was good, the voice of the candy man ahhhhhhhh :S

Candyman is more of an art film than a horror film. The Philip Glass soundtrack and graffiti art sets are amazing. The setting in the Cabrini Green housing project brings the story to life, and adds a touch of the real to the very unreal, and horrifically beautiful story.

Scary sh*t and I watched it during the day.

I really enjoyed this film. I thought the acting was great (virginia madsen does wonderful) as well as the story line. It definitely has an art film vibe, utilizing a great deal of symbolism to convey its plot. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an original take on the "slasher" film. 9/10

This is the first horror i have a good memory of watching when i was like 4-5. Do not let your 4-5 year olds watch this movie, it will scare the crap out of them!!!!

This still remains my all-time favourite horror film. Tony Todd is an amazing actor and creepy as hell. "Be my victim". This movie still makes me jump. 10/10.
