I really enjoyed this movie and found myself cheering when they succeeded and sad when bad things happened. I heard bad things about this movie and bad reviews but I truly loved this movie. Opinion- to each his own. I'm glad I gave this movie a shot and it just goes to show that not everyone opinion is gonna match with your own. 10/10 pure entertainment would buy it on blu ray.

Not bad at all! Especially the dog fights!

Because this is a struggling blacks film i suppose i should give it a 10/10, however this film is terrible from the very start you get the feeling that this is not the film it should be. The start for example the men in the bombers dying was so cheesy it was like i ordered a slab of cheddar. This film is terrible, there are no points where i felt a connection to these people. Instead they rubbed the heroic flag in your face. I believe the acting was terrible and with Cuba Gooding Jr its to be expected that the film would suck. Basically this film does these men no favors. If you use films like these to make yourself feel good about your race then your an idiot. because this film is completely out of whack and the true stories and events are far more heroic in a more dark, cosmetic tone. This film took a story and jazzed it up and destroyed most of the truth in order to entertain you. /respect to the pilots /disrespect to this terrible film experience.

I thought the film very entertaining, albeit maybe the message was a little disjointed. The German pilot mmmmmm what was he about?..Could have been better although the fight scenes were first class. I would rate this film as worth a watch, sit back and enjoy, but don't read too much into the politics.

I had my doubts about watching a war movie but this movie changed my whole outlook on war movies. The fighting of the Red Tails were challenging and on point. How the wall was broken down between the races were of much interest. I would definitely tell my friends to watch this movie it is worth its weight in gold. LOVED IT!!!!!

Got to say i enjoyed that! I was a bit worried Gooding was being type cast as the harddone by black man again as he seems to be in a lot fo these films but it was nice to not seem him in that role. The rest of the cast were pretty good with the weaker performances from the bomber crews i thought. Okay its not going to win any awards but if historical air battle type films are your cup of tea then you will enjoy this - not really sure its a film for the average chick flick loving female though.

I really enjoyed this movie.
