I just saw the first episode of one of the most original TV shows ever aired. Fringe. Even though some might compare it to the X Files, you can’t. This show has a stronger cast, with far more intriguing Story lines, and superior cast chemistry, and some of the most original plots of its kind.

A wonderfully dark, and humorous show, with all the right amounts of fear, and comedy relief, with moments that will shock some, and surprise all. The blend of cast and story line carries each episode to the next and the story line is strong. The chemistry between the casts is a good as some of Walter favorite drugs, and I'm sure as powerful. Watch them all in sequence; you will enjoy them more that way.

I just saw this episode. It’s from one of the most original TV shows ever aired. Fringe. Even though some might compare it to the X Files, and say it’s an imitation, with a different cast, but you can’t. I know the X Filers’ will accuse me of being a turncoat but this show has a stronger cast, with excellent onscreen chemistry. The character, Walter bishop, says some of the most inappropriate thing, at the most appropriate times. It has a far more intriguing story lines, and some of the most original plots of its kind. Watch them in sequence so you can fallow the plot, you will enjoy the show more this way.

As the seasons go on the show gets better and better. The overall storyline is interesting, and the charters are great too. It deals with some interesting ideas that other shows on tv aren't dealing with. The main trio of characters make a good team. If you liked the X-Files you will probably like Fringe

The first season, not unlike other TV shows is mostly getting to know the characters and slowly explaining FRINGE science, before really picking up in the second season with visits to the parallel universe, great acting great storyline all round great TV show *****

Well, it's certainly inspired by X-Files, and certainly never would have existed if it weren't for X-Files, but that would be true of any series that was a breakthrough of it's genre. X-Files isn't, and shouldn't be, then end-all/be-all of it's type of Science Fiction series. We should always be allowed to build on the past. Fringe does this in great and very originally approached ways.

It deals with a lot of very dark and and even disturbing subjects, that are not to far from reality. the interplay between the characters plays a big part in the dynamics, and thatk god for Walter, he's the perfect character, his balance, or should I say imbalance has a lot to do with the them, not to mention his madness is just funny enough to distract you at the right time, or....is every one els mad.

This show was exactly what i expected it would be, and it's obviously what i hoped it would be. After i saw this pilot i think this show could have many similarities in episodes that are yet to come with famous, incredible and "one and only" (atleast in quality, originality and presentation) 'X-Files'. pilot just offered viewers (specialy those who love these kind of series, and i do also) a lot more to hope for from 'Fringe' in near future, and that's exactly the point of pilot of every show, just interest the viewers in the show and give them something entertaining and gripping, and 'Fringe' in my opinion definitely delivered that. I thought lead actress could have been better, more authentic, charismatic and attractive also, but this one will probably do just fine for this show (atleast i hope so). And as far as other casting crew is concerned, lunatic doctor and his witty son, those roles are given to proper people i think, although Joshua Jackson could improve his acting and make a bit more convincing performance in episodes that are yet to come.
