The Tomb of the Cybermen
This is a true classic, which stands the test of time. The performances of Patrick Troughton and Fraser Hines as well as the the superb direction of Morris Barry deserve special mention as do the sets designed by Martin Johnson. The story is straightforward enough and is told with remarkable elegance. All these factors combine to create an ambience of tension throughout production. A masterpiece from an era which is considered by many to be 'golden' in the Doctor Who canon.
