I'll give this movie a solid A it's a really good movie..If you like crazy "scary" movies then you will like this and if your not into seeing blood then this movie is NOT for you..Good summer movie good acting just good period go see it

However, the movie does make the strange choice of looking down upon a character whose job is to make pornography. Since this movie's job is to be pornography, I'm confused. Is that a metaphysical statement? Is this creation talking back to its maker? Or is it just unselfconscious enough not to notice that it contains all the dirty stuff its villain wants us to see?

Besides all that, the movie offers up several kinds of wish fulfillment: underdog heroism; blonde girls who would never sleep with you getting their hair caught in outboard motors; and the greatest gift of all, that it is soon over.

This was pretty good but I felt it ended prematurely it took so long to get going then you had an intense 10 minutes of blood and carnage and bam its over. When the sequel comes and finishes the story I hope it will complete the story. Elizabeth Shue as always looks good and delivers a good role. Ving Rhames kinda is made out to be pretty chumpish not my favorite role for him. But hey this movie has all the prerequisites- Romance,action,gore,gratuitous nudity,campish horror and girls gone wild perfect slasher quality. Just leaves you hanging I felt!

Piranha was not your typical horror movie but it was pretty okay movie to watch. It had a pretty god story line and I loved the ending when they were trying to get everyone out the water probably the best part of the movie. According to the ending it appears that there is going to be a part two guess will have to wait and see how that will turn out.

What a film! This film makes you shout 'Get out of the water' and 'Swim faster!'. If you like films that keep you on edge every second and films with alot of gore and blood then this film is perfect for you. This film was well shot and well directed. A must watch!
