I thought it was slow and quite boring...even skipped a view parts cos nothing seemed to happen...

Way better than what I was expecting. I like the fact that it has a story behind it all and that they still managed to have all those scary factors that a gory movie should have. 8/10

Excellent film. genre horror, sub-genre "satanic panic, torture". The acting is believable, the story sticks pretty close to the facts of the real case, the gore and violence are up to par for the horror fan, the suspense is amazing, and the climax is rewarding.[8/10]

Starts slow then really picks up it`s "Bloody" brilliant. I did a little google search after watching this and it turns out this sort of thing is still going on to this day!!! I`m never going to Mexico!!1 Anyway really good film 9/10

sick people, wow! This movie really brings out the horror people do to each other. Good movie,not as scary as I thought but the scare does come from what happened to all those people's bodies the police found.

meh good opening scene & a couple of brutal killings. Apart from that the rest of the film is crap & a complete snooze fest

Skip the film and read "Buried Secrets: A True Story of Drug Running, Black Magic, and Human Sacrifice " which is the true story of Adolfo Constanzo, whom was the leader of the cult the film was very loosely based upon. (They didnt use the bodies for that purpose etc) The horrific scenes in the film are nothing to the truth.

I remember seeing this before and it was good to watch it again. Very twisted and demented cult people...I loved the tattoo the guy in charge had...still it was a gruesome story you wouldn't wish on anyone...

Yes, I recognized the Adolfo Constanzo story here... man, what a freak that guy was irl. I thought this movie was pretty decent. I've always thought Rider Strong was a sniveling idiot, but I guess that's why they chose him for this role. A immense bell end, that one. Anyway, I liked the feel of this movie, it was very creepy and intense. Only once did I want Sean Astin to start screaming "Frodo" so that was a relief. The story kind of fizzles out toward the end, but it had to end somewhere. Worth a one time watch. 7/10
