It's not a great horror movie by the production maybe, but the story's got great potential, I think it's very good. 8/10

When a movie never quite reaches its potential, its either the story being told does not work or the people telling the story do not. Book of Blood is a great story by a master storyteller Clive Barker. Unfortunately the translation never really live up to its potential. While good enough for a one time watch, Book of Blood could have been a classic if put in the hands of a really good director and some good actors. It gets a C- (7.2)

Very boring... or... for people who haven't watched horror before and want a ghost story with quick scares. Acting very disappointing... the guy (the one who is always naked and looks like he has down-syndrome) is very irritating and his acting is very poor... the beginning is rather good and the effects are somewhat sophisticated...

Fantastic, I loved all the tie ins with the original Hellraiser movie (house, movers, Bradley in Pinhead style picture etc)
