It was an alright movie especially if you have your own theories on spirits and possession. I believe the movie wants you to believe that the boy truly could of been Shawn. Love is that strong...

I didn't like it. I found the storyline a little dumb, but the acting was good. Its just really strange. If you like Nicole Kidman then you might like it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

most comments here say it is a strange movie, i agree on some contents, but it's more of a slow drama, pretty interesting idea for a movie, cuz that was the only thing which made this movie stand out, otherwise it would have been an average drama. It wasn't bad but it wasn't special either, i'd give it 5.5/10. i wouldn't recommend it though to someone, you can live without watching this. Good acting at least. the soundtrack gave the movie a curious touch to it

This is not a movie to watch if a) you are not used to transcendental theories or soul swapping and b) if you don't like nicole kidman. Some scenes are a bit hard to grasp but all in all, this is an okay movie.

I really liked this movie. There are some really interesting posts in the imdb forum for this specific film you should check out if this movie makes you wonder. It is a somewhat strange movie and can be a little shocking at times, but the little boy and Nicole Kidman do a really good job. Overall, I give it a 8 out of 10.

Wow...I though "Unicah" was just being a paranoid freak when he left his post, but after watching this...I'd have to agree. I can't believe they made this movie! I see where they were going with it, but I think it could have done without all the kissing, nudeness & sexual tension between a 12 year old lil boy & a grown woman. Came off as soft child porn to me...bet all the pedophiles were happy to see this one~: (

yeah this movie is a major disappointment it leaves you hanging big time. don't waste your time on this movie.

A little different of a story here, one that has a concept capable of making you interested, but not quite the concrete to keep it entertaining. It does make you empathize a bit for the woman, but then gets weird and makes you not want to think about it again, at least for me. just a strange movie I'd say with quite an open book ending. 6/10.

I have to admit, I'm surprised that I liked this movie..but I did.. It's an odd movie to say the least but it sure keeps you guessing. It's not about pedophilia...If it were, I would be the first one on the ban wagon.
