I saw this movie for the first time about 20years ago... it has always stayed with me. Haunting... Sally Field and Joan Woodward are amazing! This is one story you will not soon forget!

"Sybil" and "Not Without My Daughter"..in my opinion..were and will always be Sally Fields best movies. Definitely worth the watch.

The first time I heard about this movie was from the Psychology for Dummie's book. Really one of the best TV movie's I've ever seen. The acting is outstandingly good and the plot will keep you watching till the end. I would defo recommend it to anyone. 10/10

Incredible acting by Sally! This film gives a disturbing glimpse of what abuse can do to a child and their development as well the emotional scarring it leaves. An amazing must watch film 10/10

This is a really good movie .. (the remake isn't as good of course and I don't recommend bothering with it). It's whole heartedly intense and sad. I own the dvd .. and have seen it at least 20 times 10/10

For those of you who have become immune to sadism I recommend you watch this. Here is a true story of multiple personality caused by horrific childhood abuse. Because it was originally made for TV Sally Field never won an Oscar but did get a Emmy. This is some of the best acting ever portraying this genre - it set Sally Field apart as having the skill and diversity to take on many of the roles she earned afterwards. So, if you have the patience (3 hours) and feel that you cope, invest your time wisely in this. It will change the way you think about child abuse. Go easy, SciFi

Excellent movie. Saw it years ago, very disturbing. Not sure I'll watch again, but want to recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. The acting was outstanding. A must watch, even if it's only once. 5/5

WOW what a movie! 3 hours of mind twisting, though provoking film. I enjoyed watching this and I learned a lot in the process. I just can't believe that it was based on a true story and there is actually a Sybil out there who went through all that trauma. Sad story but very interesting.I recommend it to anyone who is curious. Give it a shot. 8/10

Very good and tense movie! 3 hours of it passed by like one and a half. I won't, of course, watch remake of this great creation. You will like it, especially if you're into psychiatry and psychology, like myself 9/10

I remember watching this with my mum when i was a kid and it stuck with me all my life. Sally Field is amazing in this, it's a disturbing tale and very moving.Joanna Woodward was brilliant too. I can never look at wooden boxes the same after watching this film always reminds me of it!

Definitely a classic Sally Fields movie. The YouTube link works great. Watched the whole movie with no problems.
