This is one of Spike Lee's most controversial movies, this really gets under the skin of the American people and gives us all a chance to look at ourselves, as well as challenge our minds. That indeed is what film is meant to do provoke and entertain the mind. Yet, there are hardly any comments on here and absolutely no reviews. There is definitely something about this film that rubs people the wrong way. There is nothing wrong with discussion, opinions and different point of views. There is a reason this movies makes people feel uncomfortable, watch for yourself and decide. P.S. This couldve well been the movie that has stalled Spike Lees career in Hollywood.

Honestly if your not a black american, you really wont fully appreciate this movie. The movie is over the top on purpose, to try to relay to those who can't understand & remind those who can, of what blacks in america go thru from several different perspectives. Excellent movie 5/5.

I REALLY wanted to like this movie but I found it so disappointing. I'm sure Spike Lee could have made a more credible movie if the characters were not so exaggerated. He doesn't need to do that, aim a bit higher and credit the audience with a bit more intellegence. People can still understand the premise of this film without the actors overstating their characters. That said, it's always nice to see a bit of Jada Pinkett Smith.

Another rubbish spike lee film, i didn't even see the name of the director untill i read the comments here...I was just going to say the film sucked badly, but then having seen its spike lee, that's just par for the course his attempts to shock and his bullshit racial elements really ruin potentially good films.

This is an honest account of life, from different perspectives. Mr Lee has by design captured the white view point of what society here in North America sees race. But only by being portrayed as what television and the arts have sadly painted to the rest of the world. It isn't easy to watch and difficult to accept as much as we hope for, nothing much has changed... the struggle continues.

well, theres honest portrayal of xenophobia and racism, and then there's being pointlessly inflammatory and sensetionalistic to pretend you're getting a point across when actually all youre doing is making an awful movie. Like most of Lee's films, this falls into the 2nd catagory. If Dave Chappelle had written this movie or even Paul Mooney it would have been hilarious.

I honestly expected a lot more from this film. Usually Spike Lee can direct a decent movie, but this just seemed low budget. The plot was very meaningful though, and the acting wasn't bad at all. I actually liked the fact that it could be over the top at times. Worth watching.
