Great movie, differently worth watching, for once it's great to see a film that does not inaccurately portray the knights templars as a corrupt evil society but as it was originally it's purpose to defend Christianity.

cool movie about a knight and his betrothed during the crusades, a mixture of romance/drama and action, The movie is mainly in English and Swedish language and a little bit of Arabic, the latter two being subtitled of course. Enjoyable movie if you like stories about the middle ages and swords.

This movie blew me away. I didn't expect much at first but it turned out to be an outstanding piece of cinema. If you like other epic war movies, such as Kingdom of Heaven or King Arthur I suggest you give this one a watch. 4.8/5

I enjoyed this film. Much attention paid to historical details - costumes, multiple languages, actual events and battles. I liked the acting and storyline too. There is little spoken English so not for those who dislike subtitles.

WOW, I really enjoyed the film! I'm so glad I watched it! The acting is excellent, the storyline is great, and the cinematography & scenery is beautiful. It is definitely a film about history, honor, love, and loyalty. I agree with another person that posted...if you like Kingdom of Heaven (and other movies similar to these type of period film pieces), you will like this movie. The one thing I didn't understand is why they sometimes spoke English, yet in other very similar situations in the movie they spoke Swedish??? There are multiple languages used with subtitles. If you don't like subtitles, you probably won't want to watch this movie. Thanks to all of you who posted useful comments which led me to watch this movie :-). BTW, I used the YouTube link and it took me to all of the links for the entire film; There are 9 parts and they all worked great! Hope you enjoy the movie as much as I did :-). I'm off to go watch Part Two :-).

Good Swedish film about a natural born hero fighting to protect Jerusalem. Has some similarities to Kingdom of Heaven, if you liked that movie then you'll like this one too. 3.5/5.
