I seen this movie, like 16 years ago or so. i loved it then, and still love it now. I guess some things never change,.. it worth all 3 hours.. i rate this movie 10/10 its a must see video..

Loved it, it always brings back memories of my childhood. Me and my brother and cousins used to watch this religiously on repeat! A toda madre o un desmadre, bailamos hasta nos morimos! And to the person who made the ignorant comment about not being a "beaner stereotype"...sounds like self-hate to me. This movie is about forgiveness, healing and the powerful bond of FAMILY. Not a bunch of high school cholo drop outs as you suggest. Get a clue.

This ranks up there with The Warriors, Boyz In Hood, The Godfather, and all the other memorable movies involving gangs and the crimes they do. I may have to watch it again. It sucks to see it in section on YouTube but worth it if that is all you have. Enjoy.....

The best prison movie ever made in my opinion, its so underated, its got an amazing plot with a surprising twist, I cant recommend it enough...11/10

This movie was fantastic when it first released and it still is one of my favorite movies today. This movie is three hours long and there isn't any boring parts of this film. It unfolds to a surprising and grimy ending + there are a few casted stars in their earlier days.Family is key in this movie as well. Great movie....

ooooooooohhh man what can i say...simply awsome...i am a very very glad that i watched this classic which i just chose randomly...such a strength in story line and very solid acting.... definitely 9/10
