This is a real story !!

I watched this movie when it first came out and have watched it several times since. It's a true story and it really moves you. So sad what they had to go through. 5/5

I've watched this movie numerous times and it's still one of my all time favorites. Such a tragic true story but also one about the power of faith. Five star movie!

5/5 because no matter what you think of this movie, it is based on a true story and the bravery some of these men showed is admirable. The acting was god, and Ethan Hawke is simply gorgeous and talented. As a kid when I watched this movie I didn't like it because I didn't really understand a lot of what these people had to go through, but I very much enjoy it now. There was a bit much 'God' talk for my tastes, but to each their own. Something helped them through. Be it God or each other.

One of the most emotional movies I've ever seen! I loved it from beginning till the end. Amazing acting! Loved every character in this film! 10/10!!

Amazing! I can't use any other word than that. I can't say it was God but they definatly had a strong force to pull them through. A must see for anyone who likes a true story. I'm kind of suprised I didn't cry. 15/10

The most incredible true story put on film!!! It's my favorite movie of all time. If anyone has "The Making of"...I saw that on cable years ago...I would love to see it again also. Who cares what anybody thought about their method of survival...they hurt nobody and it saved their lives. A thought provoking subject and those who judge harshly should be thankful they did not have to endure such a horror.
