Watch Efter brylluppet: Jacob Pederson lives in shanty surroundings in Bombay, India, and assists in the running of Anand Orphanage and School. He had attempted a number of projects to assist orphans, including child prostitutes - all quite in vain. He has adopted a young male orphan, Pramod, and takes special care of him. With growing pressure on the facilities, which is on the verge bankruptcy, the orphanage receives an offer of funding from wealthy Danish citizen, Jorgen, which may put an end to it's problems. Not bad, but ah! the close-up horror. Made the whole film look like a really long commercial.

Cinematography is the best part of this film, great camera work that capture an explosion in color in the streets of Bombay, but the close ups shots of Eyes and lips quickly became an annoyance to me, this is a soup opera drama with a great performance by a fine cast that helped elevate the movie a bit, i would still rate it as 'good movie but not great' 6/10 at best, OK for one time watch if you don't have anything else on your list to watch.

I've seen it and it's a well played (mostly) low key drama. Worth a once watch. My mum recommended it so if a 75 year old likes it...

Jakob returns to Denmark to secure corporate sponsorship for the orphanage where he works in India. Attending the wedding of the sponsor's daughter, he discovers that the bride's mother is his old girlfriend, and starts to suspect that he may be the father. Fine emotional drama of moral decisions from Susanne Bier. Fine acting. Not quite as good as 'Brothers', but well worth a watch. Review added.

What an amaaaaaazing movie. Mads ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS delivers, but Anna and Jorgen gave him a run for his money! Touching and heartbreaking, a movie for the annals of time. 9/10.
