This mini series gave me the creeps as a kid. These vamps are still some of the creepiest in film.

It took me many years to see this film. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. I loved every minute.

A great movie! Stephen King has some scary stories and this one is one of his best! 10/10

Love it.. even when it first came out. Still sends a chill up my spine. I do not recommend comparing this or ANY movie to the book, because the book will always be better. I've had the benefit of not having read the book yet (doing it now). So with no expectations, I give the film an A+ With this film, I don't care if was made in 1979 and lacks all of the HD special effects, the acting was good/solid, the storyline great, and the suspense/fear factor awesome.. all without having tons of blood and gore.. imagine that!

one of the original modern vampire tales , before they made them cute and adorable for teen age girls to swoon over, excellent Stephen King tale well done to film, definately worth seeing, unless you your into GQ style vampires who wear lipstick

Classic! one of my top 3 Tobe Hooper movies,and in my top 5 vamp movies. No one tells a good story like Stephen King! need to read the book one day as I've been told its a fantastic read. 10/10

An excellent vampire movie based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King,it was first aired as a two part mini series on TV.The head vampire is still one of the scariest i've seen and is much closer to how Bram Stoker described Dracula in the novel.The Bela Lugosi cape and fangs and your Twilight pretty boys are a creation of hollywood and really bare no relation to the original Dracula whatsoever.,9/10.
