This movie had potential but fell short with the cast.The special effects were good worth one time watch if just passing time.

fantastic effects - and very good acting - seems to me to be nightmareish memories of ww2 and the recent problems. Poor Japan they have suffered so much. Good storyline.

Contrary to most of the views herein, I found this film engrossing. Somewhat reminiscent of "the day after" but with mother-nature (mostly) responsible, with the Ring of Fire lettings its wrath spin the magnetic poles and disrupting people's minds. Admittedly, there was way too much talking (particularly at the beginning, in the tunnel) but the moral and philosophical elements were very thought provoking. And the effects, unusually using matte rather than CGI for most of the film, were excellent. Well worth a watch.

I thought this movie was EPIC! Awesome twists and turns til the end 10/10. The scenario,cgi and effects were excellent,all summed up....Mind f*** from hell. Niceeee!
